Alone™: 2nd Print Run with New Contents and Localizations

The final countdown! Post-campaign plans! One final surprise!

Dear backers,

with the final day of our campaign coming closer, we think it's time for a quick recap of the situation, what has been unlocked, how much it is worth compared to what you're pledging, and how it will be delivered to you. Also, we have a final small surprise that we hope will answer to a popular backer request, more on that later!

The stretch goals unlocked during this campaign will be packed in two new bigger expansions, tentatively named the "Avatar Expansion" and the "Deep expansion". Quite obviously, the Avatar expansion will contain the Evil Avatar rules and corresponding miniatures, the Alpha Android, and two Hero characters (all these also come with the relative cards, of course). The Deep expansion, instead, will contain the three "From the Deep" creatures, the Nest, and the remaining Hero characters (again, these also come with the relative cards). Depending on how well the final hourse of the campaign will go, we may even have a bit of space to fit a few miniatures more into these expansions... only time will tell!

Each one of these expansions will have a retail price of about 25€ when they will hit retail stores (depending on how much components they'll contain after the end of the campaign), but you will receive them for free, as you will also receive for free 2 additional Map boards, a set of 8 acrylic Danger tokens, a set of 15 acrylic Charge tokens, a set of 15 acrylic Upgrade tokens, a set 8 acrylic Turn tokens, a set of 6 acrylic Adrenaline tokens, 1 acrylic HP marker, 1 acrylic SC marker, 2 acrylic Round markers, and a custom Dice bag... most of these are Kickstarter exclusive items, too! Including core box, the Alpha Expansion and the KS-Exclusive expansion, the total "retail value" included in your 100€ pledge will be of more than 150€!

As we anticipated at the beginning of this update, we have one small final surprise for you. Many of you have been asking us to include a "big box" solution, allowing you to store all the extra contents unlocked during the campaign in one compact and convenient package. We are kickstarter backers just like you, so we completely understand the need!

We refrained from announcing anything until now, but we've been investigating on many possible ways to make this popular backer request real. With a much clearer idea of the actual amount of contents we'll have to deal with, we finally found a viable option that we hope you'll appreciate... here comes the "Big Bix Addon"!

For 10€, this Optional Buy gives you a big box to store the contents of all the game expansions and all the gameplay-related optional buys (including the Hero Neoprene Playmat) in one compact, convenient package! We can't show you anything concrete yet, but here's a quick preview introduction.

The box will have the same dimensions of the core box, so they'll nicely stack on top of each other (or one next to the other) on your game shelf. It will also include an additional platic inlay, where you'll be able to put all the extra cards included in the expansion, the set of optional translucent dice, and all the acrylic tokens (including the additional ones available as an optional buy). Next to it, you'll store the two plastic inlays of the two "small" expansions (Alpha and KS-Exclusive) stacked one on top of each other. Next to these, the two inlays of the two "big" expansions (Avatar and Deep), also stacked on top of each other. On one side of the box, there will even be space to store a rolled-up Hero Neoprene Playmat! It may sound complicated, but it's actually easier to explain with a picture.

We're at the final countdown. Slightly more than 24 hours are left before the end of the campaign, and it's been an exciting ride so far. Keep it up everyone, and fingers crossed: we have room to unlock a few more stretch goals!

The Survivor Hero sculpture is almost ready!

Dear backers,

only 4 days are left before the end of the campaign, and we're already more than half way through the gap separating us from the next stretch goal, the Parasite from the Deep miniature +  Mission card, that was revealed just yesterday. Good job everyone, keep it up!

Speaking of miniatures... we just received pictures of a mostly finished Survivor Hero sculpture from Stéphane Simon (with only a few finial finitions missing), and it's looking absolutely gorgeous! Take a look:

Nice little trivia: the sword may seem a bit too big, if you look at this sculpture, but it was made like this on purpose. A resin copy of the final sculpture will be made first, and this copy will then be used to create the production mold. Miniatures produced through plastic injection tend to shrink after they're removed from the mold, so long/thin parts (like a sword) need to be sculpted bigger/thicker than what you would expect, to compensate this effect and look "right" when production is complete.

Stéphane is now starting to work on the Hybrid from the Deep... we'll keep you posted!

3 days left! Another stretch goal down! New backer-requested optional buy!

Dear backers,

another stretch goal down! The Parasite from the Deep has been unlocked overnight, and we're quite near to unlocking its set of Mob Rules, too!

As we said in yesterday's update, Stéphane Simon is currently working on the Hybrid from the Deep, but we'll have him start on this too, as soon as that is done. We'll share pictures of the Hybrid from the Deep as soon as they will be available.

We also have one surprise announcement! Many of you have been asking for more acrylic tokens. We think that the ones we unlocked so far, even if they don't allow you to replace the entirety of the tokens included in the regular core box, are enough to cover the cases for which they were intended (mainly, using them in the Labyrinth or on the Hero board). We can't really afford to include more for free: remember, you're not paying anything for the acrylic tokens unlocked so far, they're all on us! But we heard your requests: many of you have been saying they're willing to purchase extra acrylic tokens as an optional buy, so... here it is!

For 20€, this additional kickstarter-exclusive set of acrylic tokens includes 20 Danger tokens, 20 Charge tokens and 5 Upgrade tokens. If you decide to purchase this optional buy, together with the sets included for free in your pledge, you should have more than enough tokens for most regular games!

5 days left! 37 stretch goals unlocked! New stretch goals revealed! More coming later!

Dear backers,

we were extremely happy to see that all the previously released stretch goals were unlocked during the weekend! With the final rush closing in, it's definitely time to reveal some more, and get ready... we got some juicy stuff for you!

Unlocking at 230'000€, a new Evil Creature: the Parasite from the Deep! This fiend bears 3 light-emitting tentacles on the top of its head: in the dark depths of the undergrounds where it lives, they act as an advantageous deterrent against its dark-dwelling potential predators. When interacting with gun-wielding humans, though, this evolutionary trait suddenly becomes a disadvantage: the Hero player can Hit this Creature more easily. Beware though, it is extremely powerful, taking a fight with it too lightly could prove to be a fatal mistake. This stretch goal comes with a Mission card allowing you to use the Parasite from the Deep in your custom scenarios.

Unlocking at 233'000€, the next stretch goal is another set of Mob Rules, allowing you to use the Parasite from the Deep as a regular Creature even when its Mission card is not in play.

The last stretch goal we're revealing today is the first part of one of the surprises in preparation we've been mentioning in the past. Unlocking at 243'000€, the miniature of the Terror Deck Avatar! This miniature will represent the Avatar of the Evil player playing with the Terror deck.

We still have a few cards up our sleeve so, as usual, stay tuned ;)

One week left! New stretch goals with more acrylic tokens!

Dear backers,

just a quick update before the weekend! We had a slight but noticeable change of pace in the past couple of days, and thanks to your support we blasted through the last batch of stretch goals we revealed. Time to reveal some more! We have a few neat surprises in store that we're not ready to reveal just yet, but what we can reveal is another series of backer-request stretch goals: get ready for more kickstarter-exclusive acrylic tokens!

With these additional sets of upgraded tokens made with translucent acrylic plastic, you'll be able to upgrade almost all of the tokens of the game. Stay tuned for more stretch goals to be revealed soon, and have a nice weekend!
